The Armenian tradition prioritises the flatweave — kilims of exceptional precision, with colour transitions achieved by hand-spinning rather than dyeing. Our Armenian partners have worked with us for over a decade. Their contribution to CarpetArtisan is in the detail: tight knot counts, reliable colourways, and a finishing discipline that produces rugs that lie perfectly flat from the first day.
