Every rug is hand-finished in Geneva before despatch, then delivered to your door, unpacked, placed in the room, and the packaging removed. Complimentary across Europe. Quoted per piece worldwide.
Six to eight weeks at the loom. One to two weeks in transit.
Every rug at CarpetArtisan is hand-knotted to order. Standard editions ship in six to eight weeks from the date of payment; bespoke commissions in twelve to sixteen weeks from approved render. We send weekly progress updates from the atelier during weaving — including loom photos at the halfway mark.
Once the rug reaches Geneva for finishing and quality control, we confirm a delivery window with you. Most European deliveries take place within seven working days of the rug clearing customs.

For deliveries within Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, two-person white-glove placement is included at no charge.
The team arrives within a pre-agreed two-hour window, carries the rolled rug to the room of your choice, removes all packaging and protective materials, places the rug, and confirms the layout with you before leaving. They will also move light furniture if you ask in advance.

Outside of mainland Europe and the UK, we ship door-to-door with a single carrier from Geneva — typically DHL Express or a specialist art-shipping agent for larger pieces. Shipping is quoted on the order confirmation and includes customs handling.
Import duties and local sales taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by country. For deliveries to the US, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia, we have streamlined customs procedures and can pre-quote landed cost on request.
Insured for full value, end to end.
Every shipment is insured for the full sale value from the moment it leaves Geneva until you accept delivery. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, we replace the rug at no charge — subject to notification within 48 hours and retention of all original packaging.
You receive a tracking link the moment the rug is collected from Geneva. For bespoke commissions, you also receive weave-stage photographs at the halfway and three-quarter points.
