Trade Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

The CarpetArtisan Trade Programme is open to interior designers, architects, procurement specialists, showrooms, and set designers operating on a professional basis. Trade accounts are subject to application and approval. CarpetArtisan reserves the right to decline or revoke trade status at its sole discretion.

2. Tier Structure

• Bronze (15% discount, Net 0): New applicants and accounts with < CHF 30,000 annual spend.
• Silver (20% discount, Net 30): Accounts with CHF 30,000–100,000 annual spend or 2+ completed projects.
• Gold (25% discount, Net 60): Accounts with CHF 100,000+ annual spend or showroom partner status.
• Platinum (custom pricing, Net 90): By invitation only. Terms agreed individually.

3. Payment Terms

Net 0 accounts: Payment is due at time of order confirmation. Net 30/60/90 accounts: Payment is due within the stated number of days from the invoice date, via bank transfer to the account details shown on the invoice. Late payments may result in tier downgrade or account suspension.

4. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of production start. After production has commenced, cancellations are not accepted and the full invoice value remains due. CarpetArtisan will notify the trade account by email when production begins.

5. Returns and Defects

Trade orders are final sale. Returns are not accepted except in the case of a manufacturing defect. All rugs are inspected and documented before dispatch. Any defect claims must be submitted in writing to trade@carpetartisan.com within 7 days of confirmed delivery, accompanied by photographs. CarpetArtisan will assess and respond within 10 business days.

6. Annual Tier Review

Tier eligibility is reviewed annually in January, based on the preceding 12 months of confirmed orders. Accounts may also request a tier review at any time. Tier downgrades take effect with 30 days notice. Tier upgrades take effect immediately.

7. Confidentiality

Client details submitted through the trade portal are held in confidence and are not shared with third parties. Trade pricing is confidential and must not be disclosed to retail clients.

8. Governing Law
