Botanical pigments
Madder root, walnut hull, indigo, pomegranate rind. Copper-pot simmered over three days. No synthetic shortcuts — colour that deepens with age, never fades from it.

All Curtartisian rugs are GoodWeave certified, which means independent auditors verify no child labor is used anywhere in our supply chain. Our weavers in Bhadohi earn a living wage and benefit from a studio-funded health clinic.
Vacuum weekly (no rotating brush on wool). Rotate 180° every six months so wear is even. Spot-clean spills with cold water and a pH-neutral detergent. Professional cleaning every 3–5 years. Your rug arrives with a full care card.
Yes — a lifetime craftsmanship warranty covering weave integrity, color-fastness, and workmanship. Normal wear from use is not covered; defects from the loom are, for as long as you own the rug.
