The craft

No production line, no batch. The same person warps the loom, ties every knot and binds the edge, paid directly and fairly, with nobody in between.
Our rugs are knotted in family workshops across our four weaving regions, then checked and shipped, insured, from Geneva.

Unsure about size or colour?
Tell us the room, the furniture and what the rug should do. The person who would make it answers, usually within a day.
A good rule: the front legs of every seat rest on the rug. We knot any size, so the room decides.
Twelve to sixteen weeks at the loom. We confirm a date when your maker warps the loom, and send a photograph from the loom midway.
Yes — every rug is made to order, so any size, any of our shapes and any colourway cost no premium. For a shape or pattern we don't list, start a bespoke commission and we'll draw it first.
Order free wool samples first to check colour and pile in your own light. If the finished rug still isn't right, you have 30 days to return it, insured, at no cost to you.
Every rug ships insured from Geneva — about a week within Switzerland and Europe. We track it door to door and confirm the delivery day with you first.
