1. In short
This website uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work: your session, your basket, your currency and the choices you make in the rug configurator. We run no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking, and nothing on our pages loads from another company's servers. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and list every new cookie on this page before it is set.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (local and session storage) does the same job inside your browser and is never sent to our server by itself. Both are covered here.
3. Cookies the shop needs
These keep the shop working and cannot be switched off on our side. They are removed when your visit ends or within a day.
- PHPSESSID - your session: keeps your basket and your currency between pages.
- form_key - protects the forms and the basket against requests sent from other websites.
- mage-cache-sessid, mage-cache-storage, mage-cache-storage-section-invalidation, section_data_ids, private_content_version - let your basket and account details show correctly on pages that are otherwise cached.
- X-Magento-Vary - set when you change currency, so you see prices in the currency you chose.
- mage-messages - carries a message (for example "added to your basket") to the next page.
- product_data_storage, recently_viewed_product, recently_viewed_product_previous, recently_compared_product, recently_compared_product_previous - the rugs you looked at, kept in your browser.
4. Storage that remembers your choices
Kept in your browser only; you can clear it at any time in your browser's settings.
- ca_cookie_consent_v1 - that you have read the cookie notice, so it is not shown again.
- ca-af-rooms - the room size you entered to see a rug to scale.
- ca-af-tooltip-seen - that you have seen the configurator's first hint.
- ca_v2_scene and ca_view_mode - the view you last used on a rug's page.
- ca-cart-thumbs - small pictures of the rugs you configured, shown in your basket.
- ca_saved_designs - designs you chose to save.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the cookies in section 3, the basket and checkout will not work.
